Sam Mortimer, Registered Care Manager

Sam has over 10 years of experience in Health Care, in various roles, two of which are Nursing and administration. She completed her Level 3 Diploma in Nursing and is committed to providing excellent service to all our customers and staff. After many years of working in the care sector ranging from elderly care to mental health and substance misuse, she has joined Bluebird Care as an Administrator. She has been later promoted into the role of Care Manager.

Nicola Patterson, Deputy Manager

Nicola Patterson is the Deputy Manager at Bluebird Care Scarborough and Bridlington. She plays a key role in supporting the team to deliver high-quality care, ensuring that operations run smoothly and the needs of both customers and staff are met. Her leadership helps maintain the high standards of care that Bluebird Care is known for.

Tracey Tonge, Administrator

Tracy joined Bluebird Care in October 2019, firstly as a care assistant to then being promoted to an administrator role. Tracy has numerous years of experience in different sectors such as customer service, supervisor and assistant manager in retail sectors; however, once she joined our team, she has realised that she belongs in the care sector. With her caring nature and organised work style, she is a perfect addition to our team.

Stephen Watters, Head of People and Culture

After serving at sea and then in the army Steve decided to further his education so studied at Humberside College for a B.A. in Applied Social Studies. Since then he has had around forty years in various positions in industry and commerce. In 2001 he went to Carnegie College and added an M.A. in Business and Management Development. Now in the later stages of his career, although still ready for any business or commercial challenge, Steve is happy to take less strain and support his manager and the operation. Steve plays drums, bass and guitar in his spare time.
