Our aim is to keep people independent in their own homes for as long as possible, so we take care of everyday tasks around our customers’ homes all the way through to complex care needs. We appreciate that every customer is different, and this is why every day will be different. Your Roles and Responsibilities as a Live-in Care Assistant As a Live-In Care Assistant you will be living with one of our customers or maybe even a couple to provide the very best care. You are there to be a companion, but also to help them remain independent in their own home and cherish all the memories they’ve made there. Providing personal care duties, Administering medication, Manual handling, using equipment where required, Promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full. Household chores Meal preparation Shopping Social Outings Offering our customers companionship Your Experience and Suitability for the Live-in Care Assistant Role Previous experience is a bonus but not a requirement. Live-in Care Assistants are matched to our customers to ensure our customers and you get along so the most important thing to us is that you are naturally compassionate, caring and patient. We want a team who genuinely cares for each of our customers as if they were their own family. Roles and Responsibilities as a Care Assistant Providing personal care duties Administering medication Manual handling, using equipment where required Promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full Your Experience and Suitability for the Care Assistant Role If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, Care Home Assistant, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS we would love to hear from you. However, if you do not have experience, don't worry, as we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply, for example: retail sales assistant, customer service, hairdressers/beauticians, receptionist, administrator, cleaners, warehouse workers and delivery drivers. This could be the start of your new career, with our full support and outstanding training, anything is possible if you put your head and heart into it. We want to ensure our customer receives the very best care and to do that we need people who are naturally compassionate, caring and patient. We want a team who genuinely cares for each of our customers as if it was their own family. You must have: Full and valid UK driving licence Access to a car Right to work in the UK (unfortunately we are unable to provide sponsorship) Excellent level of English Because We Care About You We understand that every member of our team has their own family to care for and this is why our role offers the flexibility to work around your own home life. You can choose between full-time or part-time work; all you have to do is simply tell us your availability. Although we try to be flexible where we can, we do require you to be flexible with us too, that’s why we will require you to work different shifts, starting from 7am or finishing at 10pm, and also being able to work alternate weekends. We can’t care for our customers if we don’t take care of our team so to make this possible, we offer: Generous rates of pay from £12.75 per hour to £26.50 30p mileage allowance plus paid travel time 28 days holiday pro rata Ongoing training and support Flexible working Pension scheme Health and wellbeing benefits Career development including the opportunity to study for NVQs in Health & Social Care Care Friends (refer a friend bonus) Free uniform Company Events Contracted hours may be available following successful completion of the 12 week probationary period.
