We began by offering home care to the elderly in our local area and when this became a success, we branched out to look at Live-In care. Our aim is to keep people independent in their own homes for as long as possible, so we take care of everyday tasks around our customers’ homes all the way through to complex care needs. We appreciate that every customer is different, and this is why every day will be different. Your Roles and Responsibilities as a Live-in Care Expert As a Live-In Care Expert, you will be living with one of our customers or maybe even a couple to provide the very best care. You are there to be a companion, but also to help them remain independent in their own home and cherish all the memories they’ve made there. Providing personal care duties. 🧼 Administering medication. 💊 Manual handling, using equipment where required. 👩🦽 Promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full.📈 Household chores Meal preparation 🍽 Shopping 🧾 Social Outings 🚗 Offering our customers companionship 📚 Your Experience and Suitability for the Live-in Care Expert Role Previous care experience is essential. Live-in Care Experts are matched to our customers to ensure our customers and you get along so the most important thing to us is that you are naturally compassionate, caring and patient. We want a team that genuinely cares for each of our customers as if they were their own family. To be considered for the role you must have: Must have a full and valid UK driving licence with your own car Fully enhanced dbs on the update service Access to a car Right to work in the UK without sponsorship Excellent level of English A no-can-do attitude with a passion for helping others Patience, understanding, caring and the ability to leave our customers with a smile Because We Care About You Competitive rates of pay Flexible working- for example 3 weeks on 1 week off Enhanced rates for Bank Holidays Enhanced rates for Bank Holidays 28 paid holiday days Pro Rata You will have a separate room to stay in the customers home You will have regular contact with your manager along with access to our career pathway allowing you to gain qualifications to grow your knowledge and confidence to provide the very best care to our customers Ongoing training and support Regular, scheduled daily breaks which you can spend as you wish in or outside of the customer’s home A clearly defined schedule of working time vs downtime during each day Referral App where you can earn £310 per person you successfully recommend But not only that, we take care of our team throughout the year, whether it's your birthday, Christmas, awards, or simply because it’s a Thursday. Medication: Helping with medication administration, ensuring they stay on track with their health. Mobility Support: Providing safe assistance with moving around the home and outside. Meal Preparation: Creating nutritious meals tailored to customers preferences. Household Tasks: Helping with light cleaning, shopping, and other errands.
