There’s never been a better time to care!

Are you looking to switch careers into the care sector? Or maybe you’re just starting out in the world or work and feel that care is your calling. Perhaps you’re retired, but still have so much to give. Whatever your situation, we have people just like you, flourishing in our Bluebird Care family.

The global pandemic has changed the world in many ways. Ways that we never thought possible at the beginning of 2020. Apart from lost loved ones, ‘new normals’ and online birthday parties, many of us have lost jobs as a result of suffering and sadly irrecoverable industries. Those industries that have endured the worst being retail and hospitality.

On a positive note, staff in these industries have exceptional and useable customer service skills and many are putting them to good use by working in care with Bluebird Care.

We’ve also seen an increase in the number of retirees come back into work as care assistants with many having a desire to ‘help out’ and do something worthwhile on the frontline.

In fact, we’re experiencing an influx of new types of people from all walks of life, from varying different background and careers make the switch to care.

Just like you, these people started off considering working in care and wondering if it were for them.

Are you a Sector Switcher?

Your maturing years give you a wealth of life experiences and an understanding of people and situations. Shared experiences with our customers will give you an immediate rapport which means that you’ll get as much out of caring as our customers do. We’d love to hear from you!
