We can’t care for our customers if we don’t take care of our team so to make this possible, we can offer you the potential to earn upto £ 23,000 per annum as one of our fulltime carers, based on an excellent rate of pay £11.25. £12.75 on weekends increasing to £22.50 on bank holidays. Care Supervisor - [Watford/ Hemel Hempstead and Surrounding areas ]

Bluebird Care have a vacancy for a Care Supervisor to join our team in our Watford Office. You will be looking after our clients and service users , and supporting our care teams in Watford and Three Rivers and at times in the Chiltern and Dacorum areas. The purpose of the role is to make sure customers receive excellent quality care and support to help them remain safe and comfortable in their own homes. This Role is Fulltime. Full training will be given. You must already be working in the Home Care Industry in the UK as a carer with the desire to become a supervisor. Sponsorship will not be offered for this role. Salary: £24K - £28K pa The Care Supervisor will be: Flexible and able to work under pressure Have hands on experience within the care industry Ideally you will already have L2 / L3 NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care or willing to work towards this. Hold a full, clean UK driving license The Care Supervisor will: Assist in the monitoring of quality control procedures, which includes mentoring new and junior Care Assistants in the field (Shadowing). Carry out customer assessments prior to commencement of care services in the absence of the care manager. Complete care plans in accordance with Bluebird Care standards. Attending customers' first calls to introduce the Care Assistant. To be a part of the emergency on-call schedule on a rotational basis. (Alternate Weeks) Ensuring all emergency on-call issues are dealt with effectively. Monitor E-MAR charts and take any actions on findings Conduct regular field supervisions of care staff. To work as part of the team delivering care to customers who otherwise would not receive a visit. To attend customer reviews To ensure all reporting and recording procedures are up to date. To liaise closely with coordinators, care manager, support supervisors, customers, care assistants and external agencies. To assist in the implementation of any necessary changes to ensure a quality service is maintained. To ensure rigorous adherence to all Bluebird Care systems.
