Bluebird Care is fully committed to the ongoing training and professional development of our Care Professionals, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality, person-centred care that makes us different. Every Care Professional will receive an Induction programme, lasting for at least five days, when they join us – including fully accredited training on essential topics such as safeguarding, health and safety, infection control, medication management, manual handling, and Basic Life Support. This training means that every new starter can get to know the team, is confident, competent and able to make the best start possible.
Bluebird Care also provides access to a wide range of specialised courses tailored to your development and to help you with the needs of the customers you will be caring for. Topics such as dementia care, end-of-life care, mental health awareness and caring for those with more complex needs are just some of the courses on offer through our accredited academy training.
We also offer ongoing learning opportunities, supporting Care Professionals to achieve qualifications such as diplomas in Health and Social Care. Regular refresher training and workshops ensure that you will always be up to date with all the learning you need.
