We are currently recruiting Waking Nights Carers across Exeter, Mid, West & East Devon to support for Customers to remain in their own homes as an alternative to residential care. We are rated Outstanding by CQC and for that reason, we pride ourselves on selecting the very best Care Assistants. Because We Care About You As a Waking Nights Carer you will work from 22.00 through to 07:00 in different locations across Devon We can’t care for our customers if we don’t take care of our team so to make this possible, we offer: Waking nights start at £12.00 per hour up to £15.00 per hour Full Induction training plus ongoing training and support Opportunities to complete Level 2 Health and Social care qualification Pension scheme Access to heavily discounted Health care scheme . Roles and Responsibilities as a Night Care Assistant All aspects of personal care such as showering, bathing, dressing, toileting & continence care Assisting and prompting with medication Preparing and serving food and drinks Safely using aids and personal equipment in a manner that respects the dignity of customers Supporting a customer through temporary and terminal illness, including end of life care Your Suitability for the Night Care Assistant Role We want to ensure our customer receives the very best care and to do that we need people who are naturally compassionate, caring and patient. We want a team who genuinely cares for each of our customers as if it was their own family. We will ensure you have all the right training and development because we care for our Care Assistants. After all, they care for our customers so it’s important that you feel equipped for the role. You must have: Full and valid UK driving licence Access to a car Right to work in the UK

Because We Care About You · Competitive rates of £613 - £1023 per week inclusive of holiday pay (rates differ during probation period) · Enhanced rates for Bank Holidays. · Weekly Food Allowance. · A separate room to stay in with access to a TV and WIFI. · You will have regular contact with your supervisor. · Access to our career pathway, allowing you to gain qualifications and continue with your professional development. · Ongoing training and support. · Regular, scheduled daily breaks you can spend as you wish in or outside the customer's home. · A working pattern between 2-8 weeks. Your Roles and Responsibilities as a Live-in Care Assistant As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will be living with one of our customers or maybe even a couple to provide the best care. You are there to be a companion, to help them remain independent in their own home and cherish all the memories they've made there. · Providing personal care duties, · Administering medication, · Manual handling, using equipment where required, · Promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their lives fully. · Household chores · Meal preparation · Shopping · Social Outings · Companionship We have various placement lengths available from 2 weeks up to 8 weeks across Devon.
