Care Assistant - Westminster

We are recruiting Home Care Assistants to join the Bluebird Care Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea team. You can look forward to:
- A salary between £13.65 and £14.85 per hour
- Bus travel expenses covered (calculated on distance travelled between customers)
- 28 days of paid annual leave (full-time); annual leave is calculated pro-rata depending on the number of hours worked

Essential skills, abilities, and requirements:
- Previous care experience is not required. We recruit for our core values – kindness, empathy, compassion – and train for excellence in care
- The right to live and work in the UK without sponsorship
- A good level of spoken and written English
- A willingness to learn and grow in the role
- A passion for delivering a gold standard of bespoke service
- Support delivered varies for each customer but could include personal care, medication administration, manual handling, domestic duties, meal preparation, shopping, social inclusion and outings, supporting doctor’s appointments and hospital visits
- Recording and reporting with detailed care notes for every visit
- A desire to continually promote and carefully monitor our customers’ health and well-being with a keen focus on customer preferences and personal outcomes
- A respectful and courteous approach that is mindful of professional boundaries
- Proactive and self-motivated with a can-do mentality
