Lisa Bidwell
Registered Care Manager

Lisa has a wealth of experience in the Care industry working on and off for 26 years. She started working for Bluebird Care in July 2019 before being promoted to Care Supervisor in November 2019 and in October 2021 took on a role as Assistant manager before becoming a Registered Care Manager in March 2022 for Lincoln & South Lincolnshire.In begining of 2024 Lisa took on additional role of also becoming Registered Care Manager for North East Lincolnshire. She is a valued member of our team and always goes above and beyond for our customers.

Samantha Carter
Floating Care Supervisor

Sam has joined Bluebird Care in 2020,  she has spent three and a half years working as a carer before transitioning to the role of a floating supervisor. Prior to joining Bluebird Care, Sam had no experience in the care industry, having previously worked in coffee shops.

What Sam enjoys most about the care industry is the opportunity to meet a diverse range of people and to help them in meaningful ways. She finds it incredibly rewarding to witness the progress our customers make, especially those dealing with mental health challenges. Sam believes every day in this field brings new experiences and no two days are the same, which keeps the work engaging and fulfilling.

Outside of work, Sam cherishes spending time with family and friends. She is an avid movie watcher, with a particular fondness for Disney films. Additionally, Sam enjoys the creative and relaxing hobby of cross-stitching.

Nicola Blow
Care Supervisor

Nicola joined Bluebird Care in March 2022, as a care assistant, bringing with her an impressive 22 years of experience in the care industry. Throughout her career, she has worked in numerous care homes as a carer and senior carer. Additionally, Nicola spent 8 years as a nursing assistant at Lincoln County Hospital with the NHS, gaining a wealth of knowledge and expertise in various aspects of care.

Nicola loves the care industry because of the diverse range of people she meets from all backgrounds. Her role as a care supervisor allows her to connect with individuals, listen to their stories, and make a positive impact on their lives.

In her spare time, Nicola enjoys a wide range of crafting activities, with paper crafting being her favorite. Her creativity and passion for crafting provide a wonderful balance to her professional life, allowing her to express herself and relax.

Amanda Broughton
Care Supervisor

Amanda has been a valuable member of the Bluebird Care team since November 2023, bringing with her 14 years of extensive experience in the care industry. Her career began in a dementia care home where she started as a care assistant and worked her way up through various roles to reach her current position. Amanda’s lifelong dedication to care has shaped her into a highly skilled and compassionate professional.

Amanda loves the dynamic nature of the care industry, where no two days are ever the same. She finds great fulfillment in the heartfelt thanks she receives from those she helps, making her feel that the work she does is truly worthwhile. Amanda’s passion for care began at a young age, and she has always known she wanted to dedicate her life to helping others.

In her free time, Amanda enjoys watching her favorite soap operas and wrestling matches. She often attends live wrestling events whenever she can. Amanda is also an animal lover and enjoys visiting wildlife parks. Additionally, she has a keen interest in reading, particularly true crime books.

Gary Wilson
Care Supervisor

Gary has been a dedicated member of the Bluebird Care team for 22 months, starting in October 2022 as a carer. His commitment and expertise quickly led to his promotion to mentor and now to the role of Care Supervisor for South Lincs. With approximately 20 years of experience in the care industry, Gary's career began as a senior support worker in a forensic unit. He then transitioned to the NHS, where he served as a Health Care Support Worker and later as an Assistant Practitioner on the emergency assessment ward for six years. Following this, Gary worked as a supervisor at a day care center, caring for adults with learning disabilities, Down syndrome, and autism.

Gary thrives in the care industry, embracing the daily challenges and finding great satisfaction in helping people remain comfortably in their own homes. His extensive experience and compassionate approach make him a valuable asset to the Bluebird Care team.

Outside of work, Gary enjoys spending time with his Belgian Malinois dog, Mercy, and taking long walks together. He is also an avid motorbike enthusiast and loves riding his bike during the summer months.

Hayley Broadberry
Care Plan Administrator

Hayley joined Bluebird Care in October 2023, bringing extensive experience from various roles within the care industry. Before joining Bluebird Care, Hayley worked as a manager in a care home and as a care worker in the community. Additionally, Hayley has a strong background in mental health support, which has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the diverse needs of those she cares for.

Hayley loves working in care because it is both challenging and rewarding. Each day is different, and seeing the positive impact of the care provided on individuals' lives is truly fulfilling.

Outside of work, Hayley enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cherishing these moments of connection and relaxation.

Megan Litherland
Office Administrator

Megan joined Bluebird Care in March 2022 as an office apprentice and has since become a key member of the administrative team. Before joining Bluebird Care, Megan worked at Lincoln Hospital as a Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) and has experience in childcare, showcasing her diverse background in various care and support roles.

Megan finds great fulfillment in supporting people and ensuring their safety in their own homes. She is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those she helps, and she values the rewarding nature of her work.

Dennis Atkinson
Facilities Manager

After experiencing care on a personal level, Dennis decided to make a career change into the care industry himself. After two years of being in the Care sector, Dennis joined the Bluebird Care team as a Care worker with the goal of progressing and after 14 months achieved the position of Supervisor and in 2019 he has progressed to our Technical and Development Officer, which covers all of our offices. To now being promoted to Facilities Manager.

John Webber
Managing Director

John has a degree in Business Management and many years of experience as a Senior Director and in Management, providing high-quality services to demanding clients.


His passion for the care sector is shown throughout everything he does, and he motivates our team to provide the best service to our customers.

Victoria Webber
Director

Victoria has a BA Honours degree in Business Management and a Background in Customer service. She has a Passion for high quality service and has achieved her Level 5 Diploma in Management of Health and Social Care. Due to her passion and drive to deliver High Quality care and innovation, Victoria was named a finalist for the Young Franchisee of the year award at the 2017 national BFA Awards and continues to work towards building a exceptional company delivery exceptional service.

Stephen Watters
Head of People and Culture

After serving at sea and then in the army Steve decided to further his education so studied at Humberside College for a B.A. in Applied Social Studies. Since then he has had around forty years in various positions in industry and commerce. In 2001 he went to Carnegie College and added an M.A. in Business and Management Development. Now in the later stages of his career, although still ready for any business or commercial challenge, Steve is happy to take less strain and support his manager and the operation.

Steve plays drums, bass and guitar in his spare time.

Michael Bryce
HR & Wellbeing Manager

Michael joined Bluebird Care in October 2020 as a Care Coordinator for the South Lincolnshire area. He has dedicated all of his working life to the caring industry with the most recent job being with the Palliative Care team at St Barnabas. Michael believes that everyone who receives care should receive it with respect, dignity & the support to make their own choices. Michael has a counselling degree and is very passionate about helping other. In September 2021 he has became the wellbeing and Engagement Officer.

Jency Kugan
Finance Assistant

Jency joined our team as a care coordinator, and after excelling in the role, she was promoted to finance assistant. Jency has a BSC in Clinical psychology, and she is in the process of doing a master's in HR Management. Jency enjoys working with people and also enjoys working with figures. Her recent move to the new department has allowed her to develop her skills and flourish as an employee.

Shannon Dandy
Assistant Care Manager

Shannon has a wide range of experience in the care sector. Her career in the Care industry began since she was 18 years old. Shannon is very passionate about helping people. After her first day at Bluebird Care Lincoln, she said, "it felt like I have been here for months. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. It feels more like a family."

Rachel Kemp
Lead Care Supervisor

Rachel joined the company in 2020; coming from a retail background, Rachel was new to the care sector. With her knowledge and confidence growing, she has soon become an excellent Care Assistant who was promoted to a Care Mentor in November. Rachel's dedication and hard work were continuously noticed, and in March 2022, she was promoted to be a Care Supervisor and in 2023 took on the role of Lead Care Supervisor.

Tracy Metcalfe
Care Supervisor

Tracy joined Bluebird care in 2014. She has 23 years of experience in the care industry. Tracy specialises in palliative and end of life care. Tracy makes sure that all our staff are trained to the highest standard in moving and handling with her excellent knowledge.

Tracy enjoys spending time with her family and listening to music.
