Companionship - being a friendly face and providing emotional support. Supporting people with their personal care e.g. getting dressed and bathing. Administering medication i.e. tablets, medicines, creams and patches. Helping people to move around their home using safe techniques and equipment Promoting people's health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full and as independently as possible. You can choose between full-time or part-time work; all you have to do is simply tell us your availability. We ask that you can commit to at least 2 shifts per week, and work alternate weekends. We have early and late shifts available: Early shifts - 7:00 am - 2:30 pm or 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Late shifts - 2:30 pm - 10:00 pm or 4:00pm - 10:00 pm We can’t care for our customers if we don’t take care of our team so to make this possible, we offer: An excellent rate of £12.50 per hour with paid travel time. What does the role of Care Assistant involve? You'll be providing person-centred care & support to individuals living in their own homes. You'll be providing personal care such as support with washing and dressing, administering medication, supporting people to use mobility equipment where required, companionship, shopping, light housekeeping and promoting overall customer health and wellbeing. The role involves building trusting and meaningful relationships with our customers, you'll need good listening skills, a patient and flexible approach and a good sense of humour. Current shifts available are: Early shifts 7:00 am - 1:00pm You'll get every other weekend off. All of our Care Experts work alternate weekends. If you work part-time you just need to commit to two shifts per week plus alternate weekends. If it's your weekend to work, you'll get your days off mid-week instead.
