Schedule: Day shifts between the hours of 07:00 - 22:00

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum and 0.30p per mile

We are looking for two full-time experienced Care Assistants to join our team as the next Senior Care Assistants in the business. You will be required to work our 4 and 3 rotation between the hours of 07:00 and 22:00, working an average of 42 hours per week, to help us grow our domiciliary care services throughout South Tyneside whilst supporting our care assistants with the transitions into new packages.

As a Senior Care Assistant you will be working alongside our team of Care Assistants utilising your experience and skills for hands on care delivery. You are the primary support to the business to onboard new customers into our service ensuring a smooth and hassle free approach to their care journey.

Additionally, you will be involved in some marketing activities to aid the growth of the services we offer. Such as 20/20 leaflet marketing campaigns on either side of a customer's home. You may also be required to carry out environmental risk assessments at customers' properties and conduct medication audits to ensure they are stored safely.

There is a set working schedule for this position that follows a two week rotation, which is made up of 4 days one week and 3 days the following week, including alternative weekend work.

• Week 1 - Mon, Tues, Sat & Sun
• Week 2 - Wed, Thur, Fri

It is essential that you have a minimum of 3 years care industry experience as a Care Assistant and preferably hold a Level 3 in Health and Social Care.

This is a mobile role so it is also essential that you have a Full Valid Driving Licence and access to your own reliable car/vehicle.

We have a robust pre-employment training programme which provides all essential onboarding procedures for all of our Care Assistants to become a Bluebird Care employee. You will also receive ongoing support provided by our dedicated Care Management Team, experienced Senior Leadership Team and our approachable Office Team.
