Bluebird Care Carlisle has an exciting opportunity for a live-in care expert to join our expanding team. 

The live-in care assignment is in a lovely rural location.

Be a full UK resident (we do not have a licence for employing workers with a visa therefore do not offer sponsorship or accept applications from workers in this category)

Have a full UK driving licence

Have your own car

Your Roles and Responsibilities as a Live-in Care Assistant 

As a Live-In Care Expert you will be living with an elderly couple to provide the very best care. You are there to be a companion, but also to help them remain independent in their own home and cherish all the memories they’ve made there. This care package is to support an elderly couple with low dependency needs. You will support the customers with cooking, light housework, going to the toilet, bathing, safely moving around the home, and administering medication. 

Your Experience and Suitability for the Live-in Care Assistant Role

Previous experience is a bonus but not a requirement. Our Live-in Care Experts are matched to our customers to ensure our customers and you get along so the most important thing to us is that you are naturally compassionate, caring and patient. We have created a team of care experts who genuinely care for each of our customers as if they were their own family. We are looking for a carer who is passionate about the role and who is enthusiastic, sociable and who thinks that they can make a real difference to the lives of our customers. 

Because We Care About You 

• Competitive rate of £850 per week
• Full induction, training and ongoing support
• 28 days annual leave
• You will have regular contact with your supervisor
• You will have your own bedroom within the customers home and all meals will be provided
• Regular, scheduled daily and weekly breaks which you can spend as you wish in or outside of the customer’s home
