Great article from Bluebird Care employee featured in the Guardian

26 Nov 2015
Yesterday a special piece from Jodie Gornall, a Bluebird Care care assistant was featured in the Guardian newspaper.

I’ve turned my hands to many things during my working life from waitressing to general office work but have never worked in such a rewarding job as care.  It gives me so much satisfaction to care for people to help them remain independent in their own homes and it is a real joy getting to know our customers.

I’ve worked in care for many years but nothing compares to working for Bluebird Care because it’s the first home care company I have known that actually cares for its staff as well as its customers! We deliver the ‘Rolls Royce’ of care to our customers and I am proud to wear the Bluebird Care badge.

Even from my first interview to become a Care Worker it struck me what a special company Bluebird Care were. I have been delighted that I chose to work for Bluebird. With an emphasis on support and investing in staff I have never looked back. Quickly promoted to Senior Carer I have now been promoted again to Assistant Supervisor proving that Bluebird Care really promote from within and when they say they invest in staff they really mean it. I am proud to work for Bluebird Care and I can honestly say I have never been happier in my working life.
